Tae Jin An

Tae Jin is a key asset manager for MVP PEF I & II, with over 20 years of experience in global investment banking and
capital markets. Tae Jin is also a founding member of Mercury Value Partners in 2014, right after he had worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. in Hong Kong.

Currently, Tae Jin manages the investment process from thesis definition to due diligence, negotiations, value
enhancement and exit, by leveraging previous expertise in M&A, alternative investment, and structured finance
accumulated throughout his career, with access to institutional investors, top-level corporate managements and government agencies.

He also worked as a Director at Rabobank Int’l in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for Rabobank’s Korean
businesses. Previously, he was an Associate at Distressed & Strategic Investment Team of Deutsche Bank Singapore.
Prior to that, he was a Manager at M&A Dept. of Daewoo Securities in Seoul, Korea where he was responsible for all
cross-border transactions. He started his career as an investment banker by joining J.P.Morgan as an Analyst in Korea.

Tae Jin has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Toronto and Master of Arts, majoring in Economics, from
McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
